well i was wondering i have a 200 6cyl in my 1965 mustang and i bought a 302 to put in there and worked all summer to buy everything i need for the motor and for the swap and me and my dad started to look at every thing we had and wat we needed to get and said it would take longer then he thought it would... so i was thinking should i put the 302 in it or keep it a classic (even though some people say its not a collector car cause they made so many) but every one i talked to put a V8 in there mustang that had a 6 cyl in it and i woukd like to rebuiled my 6 to have matching numbers and keep it original wat do you guys think???

First of all, it IS a classic collectors car. Mustang is the PREMIER pony car. What you do with it is up to you. It really does not take long to do the swap if you have all the parts. It can be done in a weeks time easy, or spend ALL week-end and do it. But it all depends on what YOU want the car to be. If you want the V8 and have concerns for the value at a later time, keep the original drive train and suspension parts to swap it back. Many people keep the I6 for the originality. Bravo to them! Do you want original or Resto Mod? Only you can answer that.
