Default New to AFM 68 mustang coupe 6 cylinder

Hey everyone my name is sergio. i have a 1968 mustang coupe with a straight 6 engine that is giving me some trouble. bought it for $1800 three days ago and have some questions.

1. i put a new alternator in and put the old v neck pulley but its dented a lil and when i rev the engine it comes out. the problem though is that i dont know if the wires are put where they are supposed to be does anyone have a diagram i can reference? the reason i put a new alternator is because the battery wouldnt charge. but since i installed it it still doesnt charge and it drains the battery over night. could it be the ignition switch? its a little loose.

2. the single barrel carburetor seems to me like a little weird. when i press the gas the choke closes.....and stalls and sometimes the choke stays open a little and stalls too.

other than that it needs a new brake line, and its rusty at the torque boxes badly and the rear floor pans are gone too.
