Hi, I am new to the forum and i was hoping someone had pictures of their stock gt rims 99-04 painted black and the process they did to complete them.

I have a 2000 black mustang gt, black tints, k@n intake, ford upgraded racing suspension, frame ties, shorty shifter.

soon to come!!! slp loudmouth 1 exhaust, possibly long tube headers, and 75mm tb.

I just took the rims off my 2010 and had the outside bead broke loose from the rim so I can prep and paint them. After a thorough cleaning and degreasing with a PPG degreaser, I'll scuff with a fine sandpaper and a fine scotchbrite pad (I like the grey ones for this) then paint with a high solids black satin paint. I'll be pinstriping the wheel on the flat part near the tire using One-shot that is a close match to the blue on the car. Hopefully I'll get some of this done tomorrow so I can get tires back on the car.
