I am disappointed right now because I bought a 2012 V6 Mustang and since I live in Cali; there are no carb legal headers or CAI right now. I have called several manufacturers and they confirmed. I mean there are ways around it but I dont want to risk getting a ticket. Is there any way to comfort my aching heart? power performance parts wise! lol. Any advice will do.

I love the car and I traded in my 2006 V6 Mustang for this one. I am thinking of getting it MATTE BLACK wrapped. What do you think?

Dont listen to someone that has an older gt that makes a bunch less power than the 2011-2013 V6 does. (sorrynewponyboy, just going by your pic)..The im not sure about getting Cali certified, but a CAI on the 2011 to 2013 is worth a good 10+ hp and 15+ tq. And thats not bench racing. With just the air radi intake I picked up an honest 12hp and 14ft at the tires on a dyno pull. Added a Bama tune with an SCT tuner and got another 8hp and 11ftlbs. Then I added the BBK TBody and got another 10hp and 15ftlbs below 4k and 5hp and 9fts above..All this without exhaust mods, which are coming....I do belive that you can do a Bama Tuner and Tbody out there and not run into any issues...

lets see my supercharged saleen makes 350 while your v6 makes what? 315? and mine has a bunch less hp? wow youre bad at math. no wonder you think a simple cai added 10hp and 15+ torque lol. ricer logic much?

My Jlt series 2 intake with 93r tune from Bama Chips not to mention exhaust, showed a gain of at least 25hp.

you would be suprise how much 93 octane gas would boost your hp. thats why racing fuel is 104 i believe

I was gone for a couple of days and couldn't reply but wow! I had a cai and magna flow with NO tune and I could notice an hp gain. That's why I went with a newer model and low mileage. I am going to put in gears, LSD, headers, cai, magna flows, etc. but I need to wait a few years before I can touch the exhaust.

Its bs I bet as long as you leave a cat or some type of cat you will pass smog just cause they dont want to pay gov. hella money doesnt mean the part will kill the ozone layer.

I believe the BBK Intake has the CARB Exempt sticker. And I'm pretty sure you won't get a ticket unless you're driving stupidly. (Knock on wood). Smog shouldn't be an issue either, just have someone do it or just switch back to stock intake. Same go with headers. BBK LT headers with catted x-pipe will pass smog but not visual.
