Hi, I'm new here. I came to this site to gather information about a 2.3L Turbo motor I was told was from a mid 80's Mustang. I'm a little unsure how to tell what year it is from so I can order parts for a rebuild. I've found 2 pads with numbers stamped on them. The first is at the passenger side rear with numbers that are mostly unreadable (poorly stamped). Then on a pad at the front of the drivers side near the distributor mounting hole. How can I narrow down my motors age? I'm figuring its at least 1984, my search so far shows the Fuel injected motors were started in 1984.
