Last Friday, I bought a 2005 Ford Mustang V6 Premium

Exterior: Torch Red
Interior Upgraded Package: Crimson Red - Leather



I finally got tired of car repairs. Over the years I bought used cars and had nothing but problems. I had an 95 Olds Achieva for 2 1/2 years. One problem after another. I said Lets do it. Last Thursday we went up to the Ford dealership and looked around. I wanted the Silver color but they didnt have any in the lot. He said it was hard to assume that one will come in anytime soon since this is a hot car. The Torch Red one was sitting there and he said to take it for a ride. My wife and I jumped in and headed down the highway for a few miles. We talked it over on the way back. We got back and I told him that I would take it. I filled out papers and he said I could pick it the next day. Friday came and I was excited. After work , I picked it up. I had to sign more papers,he went over the controls with me.
Snapped the seatbelt in place and headed home.

It's nothing like waking up in the morning and turning the key and hearing that sound.

My wife and I took a ride around the local lake last Sunday. Everyone was out swimming and boating. We pulled into Grotto Pizza and this gorup of bikers stared at us along with the people eating on the outside deck.
I got alot compliments on this car. My wife's friends at work and her cosmetology class wants to check the car out, probably end up taking them for rides.

I glad that I found this site and been reading thru the posts.

the mustang addiction only gets better with time.

i started out with my first stang 10years ago with a brand new 6 cylinder stang after that i've owned alot of stangs buying and selling over the years to improve my collection. Now today i'm a ford nut with my garage full of fords. in my stable i have a 93' cobra, 88' stang gt with t-tops, 00' stang gt, and 94 lightning truck...... it never ends always wanting more fords i always see one forsale somewhere that catches my eye,haha(you all kno what i mean). i can only keep 3 or 4 at a time without insurance prices eating me alive....

I just want to say,that everywhere I go there is someone who talks to me about my Mustang. I feel like a celebrity. Only difference is that I take time to talk to those people. I had one woman talk to me at a video store that I was coming out of. She asked me if that was my car. We talked about 10 minutes or so. My wife goes to cosmetology school from 5pm - 9pm. About 6 women there asked me to bring up the Mustang at break to check it out. So I did and they loved it. I even had customers and sales reps at my work (small sporting goods store) get chatting about it.

I am so happy with it. I look for an excuse to take it on the road.
Being new I don't know if this is the right place to add a pic of it.
