Well I'm not really all that old. Let's just say I'm somewhere between 56 and 58 ok? Story of my life, short version I promise! I own my own paint and body shop and also a car repair shop. I have 7 great kids, and have been married for 28 years. My hobby is Ford trucks, my whole family is dyed in the wool Ford fans. That's all we own. Ford all the way. I came here here because my wife bought a 91 Mustang convertible for me to fix up for her.
Here's some of the cars I own. Guess I'll start with the running ones first.
2004 Ford Excursion. Top of the line everything. Diesel, 4x4, all kinds of Banks go fast goodies. 4 inch lift, big winch bumper, looks mean as hell. Wifes truck. She loves it and won't give it up.
2006 Ford F-350 King Ranch. Diesel, 4x4, dually. Bone stock daily driver. I buy a new F-350 every January. Nothing special.
1960 F-100 short wide. Latest completed project. Restomod, looks stock from 10 feet away. Has a 456cid stroker FE, toploader 4 speed, and a 9 inch. Just your basic run of the mill muscle truck.
1968 F-100 short wide. 351 Cleveland, 4 speed, 9 inch. Another restomod and muscle truck. Hey it's what I like.
1994 Flareside. This one is special because it has a 351W and an automatic. Most Flaresides had a 300 I-6 and a 5 speed. I like it, mainly a garage queen though.
1975 F-250 4x4. 428FE, 4 speed. Big honkin chromed out truck, big lift, huge tires. Screams redneck runnin down the road. I like it because it's obnoxious as hell.
1972 F-250 Camper Special Ranger. Pretty much top of the line in 1972. Bought it with 14,000 original miles on it. Completely stock and pampered. Not a flaw on it, probably my favorite truck.
1993 Lightning. Bought this truck brand spankin new. Has less than 700 miles on it. My collector/show piece truck. My kids are waiting for me to die so they can fight it out for this truck.
2000 Lightning. Bought another red one to go with the 94. Only put 500 miles on it. Pampered baby and she sits next to her older sister. Another collector truck.
1968 Ranchero. This ones a hot rod with a 347 and a C-6 in it. Lot's of chrome and power. Love it.
1968 Ranchero. This one is restored to the condition it left the assembly line in. Pretty neat truck.
1970 Bronco. Another perfectly restored truck. Too many early Broncs are getting cut up. This one isn't. Ever.
I have 8 1980-1986 F-150 short wides. It's a good looking body style and under appreciated. All are in as new condition, stock.
1950 F-1. Restored to factory condition.
1955 F-1. Hot rod. 429, C-6, completely smoothed and all the conveniences of modern life. Love it!
1919 Model T. This one is not a truck but it's definetely a family heirloom. My grandfather bought it after he returned home from WWI. First car anyone in my family ever bought. He left it to my dad and my dad left it to me. Priceless treasure. It sits front and center in my garage.
1996 F-250 4x4. Diesel, XLT, crewcab. Just an all around nice truck. I intended to trade it in 1997 but it just grew on me.
1995 Ford Bronco. 351W, Eddie Bauer. Just your basic 20,000 mile garage queen.
1958 F-250. Restored this truck to new. Just a neat truck. I like it a lot.
1965 1 ton wrecker. Got this one from a service station that was closing down. Thought it would be neat to restore and set by the curb of the shop. Only work it does is moving to the curb and back in the garage everyday.
1978 F-100 short wide. Put a modern computer controlled fuel injected 351W and AODE in it just to see if I could. Works well and it's a nice truck to drive.
1932 pick up. Original all steel truck. Restored to original.
Well that's about it. There's a few more but I can't recall off hand. Got that shaky memory that comes with age. I have a huge garage that I keep these trucks in. Along with memoribilia, collectibles, big couch and TV to relax in. It's my space to unwind. Whan dad is in the garage don't come in unless invited. The wrecker sits at my garage, the Excursion and KR in the driveway. The rest sit in the garage.
My next project is a 1948 F-1 that I'm going to restore back to original. Then I'd like to get a F-250 4x4 with the IDI diesel and restore it before they all get swapped for Powerstrokes. I'm into trucks guys. Only the one
Stang, sorry.
