Default 2.3 L turbo coupe
Hi all- I have a '86 2.3 L turbo engine that no longer has the plastic tab on the timing cover plastic backing plate. I am trying to time the cam to the crank. Is there any other way to time the cam without this plastic backing plate with the timing marks?

Yes, does anyone no has this is done?
Is there a key other timing indicator to do this I already have the piston at TDC...what next? It's on a 87 T-bird but it should be the same right? Thank you.
