Default My intent for this forum

Greetings to you all.

I have joined this forum for the purpose of finding a particular car. This will be a needle in a haystack but I don't have much choice.

In short, I am looking for a 1968 GT500 shelby, black int. /ext 4 spd.
My dad bought it new in Portland, Oregon and later sold it in Marysville, Kansas in 1972. His self-kicking began just a few years after that. I have no vin and dad passed away last year.I am just trying piece anything together that would let me know if the car still exists and where.

I thank you in advance for any info you provide.

Sincerely, Greg Fowler

There was a black Gt500 owned by a lawyer in Topeka in the 80s/90s. Marysville is about 2 hours from Topeka . . . You might try the heartland MCA, but I know everyone and their dog's been trying to get that car . ..

Good luck with the hunt. Sounds like a tall order, but who knows, you might catch a lucky break

Thanks for the replies. And I will check the heartland club. Maybe instead of me chasing after the car I can just put out a "call signal" and see if anyone answers back. Who knows?

Good luck, even with a vin, it can be hard. I wonder about the '68 in my avatar. Mom sold it in '76 (for a new four door Maverick). I do know the vin, so I know it changed hands in Ohio, two or three years ago.
