Newb to the mustang world

Sup guys I just picked up a 91 mustang gt and pretty much dont know what ive gotten myself into me and my little bro tore the top end off the engine only to find that it had a edelbrock performer upper and lower intake, a 70mm bbk tb spacer and tb, trick flow heads, copper head gaskets, 1.72 roller rockers and was told it had an x 303 cam but then i heard that the cam with those rockers would knock the valves into the pistons so i dunno, but it also has a ford racing t-56 trans aluminum driveshaft and a 3.73 posi unit. i picked it up cause my friend said he wanted it off his property so i got it for 3k. i took the nitrous off and wanna do a charger of some sorts, any suggestions?

Wow man, 3 grand for that setup is a STEAL! Very nice. If you want to boost the car, make sure you get some good forged pistons, rods and crank. A lot of people reuse the factory pieces. I think in the 5.0L they come from the factory forged, not real sure about that though. You may want to check into a cam with a little less overlap and a tighter LSA than the X303. Too much overlap just allows boost to blow straight through the combustion chamber uselessly.

Hmmmmm...MAF...does the car still have the OEM injectors? If it doesn't then you'll need to figure out which injectors are in it and get a MAF for those injectors. I have no idea on a clutch cable.

UPR makes a very good adjustable clutch cable, also I dont think there is really a upgrade you can do on your MAF with out a tune. I have owner 2 fox bodies and one built close to yours but had the matching trick flow upper and lower intakes.

If your going to go blown go with a Vortech T trim and get all the power you want. Since you got the car for so cheap i would tear it down and build it to make sure it can take the blower. Since it was on N20 it might be worked hard. it might still run like a beast but that blower will most likely test whats left of the internals.

Awsome deal man! At the track you should be in the mid 12's with DR's
