[1998SVT]

I am almost 16 and saving up for a car,
I've got my eyes on cheap power and the only thing that hit me was mustangs.
I've got my eyes set on a 1998 4.6 or 5.0 SVT cobra



Well, what i want to know is how much A mustang like that would cost and would it be a good first car

Well Mustangs arent that cheap, your looking at over 12K for a quality 98 Cobra.

I got a 96 cobra with 66K miles for 6K. stick with the 4.6 since the 5.0 doesn't have the DOHC. Look on craigslist every day with cobra as the keyword. But a decent GT could be a could starter car. Heck fire get you a mid 80's GT with a carb and learn how to work on them. Nothing beats adding a new part and then taking it out for a quick test drive. We used to put in a new engine, run it around the block before we hooked up the exhaust (open headers) then stick it in the garage and close the doors until the cops cleared out. It was a hoot
