I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Chris and I am from the Cincinnati,OH area.
I used to own a black 01' GT vert that won a few awards at shows I attended. I am sure the mods still have pics of it from WFC#5
Black with huge chrome wheels, blackwidow body kit and some funky roll bars.
I added a lot into the styling of that car and little add on's performance wise. Still rock stock run a 14.1 and with the shifter, lowering springs, tokico shock/struts, strut tower and the 19 inch wheels/tires.. ran a moddest 13.7 with the stock air filter system in place.
I have since sold that car and owned a few different rides since then. but I have missed the mustang stuff and it's time I get back in action.
anyway, I just bought my 3rd
stang. a 03' GT vert, in black with a 5spd and only 9k miles!
I am planning a different route for this one. body will remain mostly stock,but the performance will be upgraded this time. I will still start by removing the 4x4 stance
and then the shifter will be replaced with a STEEDA unit. From that point I will slowly start to empty my pockets into the underhood area and finish with the suspension.
I can't wait to get started.
