Default Another new guy

Hi all. This is a great board. I have learned a lot from reading through the tech articles and the forums provided on this site.

Now to my car: 2002 GT convertible, manual, a daily driver with 80,000 miles, dark blue and completely stock. I have a little problem with the clutch, but I’ll post that in a thread in the 4.6L tech area.

I have a direction I would like to go in with some engine mods. As of now my first mods will be a Diablo tuner and an after-market cam. I still have some reading to do about cams and would like some suggestion for brands and sizes. After that I will do some bolt-on mods and some gears.

Thanks for any advice.

I would suggest you look at throttle body-plenum kits, and also to consider the SCT XCal2 instead of the Diablo since they have more support.

I plan getting a throttle-body and plenum not soon after the cam and programer.

I still will probably go with the Diablo because my dad is good friends with the an authorized Diablo dealer and will more than likely dial in the tunes for it.
