 Brand Spankin' New Mustang Owner...
After owning another convertible (used it for learning how to do autowork), and always loving the look of the first generation mustangs, I found a brand new black '06 Mustang GT 'vert that I couldn't pass on. I love the mix of new performance and comfort with the old school styling cues, so I made the pony the first new car that I have ever purchased. I usually get buyer's remorse after I buy anything (clothes, TV's, etc.)...NOT THIS TIME! I've only had the car a couple of days, and I still get a HUGE smile on my face when I hear that V8 come alive. Don't think that that will ever get old.
Love the power, but of course...I could always use a little more (hope to get to 300 RWHP...which should be easy). I also want to lower it a little, try to improve it's turn carving a little bit, along with improving the braking feel. But that will come later...I'm just enjoying it right now as it is.
Turns out that "it runs in the family"...I found out recently that my father owned a late 60's fastback back in the day, before I was born.
Anyhow...I'm glad to join this forum/community, and hope to learn a lot along the way. |
