Hello I have a convertible 90 mustang with a blown 2.3 with perfect interior and top. I recently bought an 89 hatchback that had a 23 stick and was semi converted to a 302 and
tranny out of a 88 tbird. it had an edelbrock intake with matching roller cam edelbrock 600 carb power steering relocater w a/c delete smog bypass and summit 100 amp altenater.It also has a gm hei distributor conversion on it but nothing was plumbed in except the gas has new lines with ele. pump but not hooked up to carb. i need help with a few things , i need some kind of adapter or cables to hook up the throttle and kickdown and also when i put new battery in my buddy hooked them up back wards for a few seconds. the only thing i noticed was the 1 wire to the alternator was melted so i replaced that but i cant get it to start. Its like the block is charged because it wont start and i can jump the starter wire and it will turn but it also welds my jumpers tot the batt. i have never done a swap like this has always been chevys but i like the mustang and want to get the motor going in the hatchback before i throw it in my convertible. any and all help would be appreciated thanks
