[SA_Mustang]

hey there people,

I am about to get my first mustang, 4th ford. Most likly it will be a new 07 v6 but here is what I plan to do to it. about 48 hours after i get it into my garage if i can get the car for the right price.

Now I will say this, I have my reasons for getting the 6. so we will leave that argument at that.

Stage 1

Full set of GT take off's (front and rear valence mufflers, and side skirts and grill)
New hood (here is the tricky part I know what hood i want just not where to get it)
- I am looking for the hood like what is on the new king cobra, the low pro twin scoop. Functionality would be nice but I am a realist and this is going on a v6 so it is not a must have.
Pony rims (a friends father has an extra set)
dual exhaust h-pipe (gt take offs first then as money is availible getting the Flowmaster AT mufflers)

Thats about it for the visuals, I am concidering other items aswell

CAI
underdrive pullies
new plugs and better wires

but i want to look into the warenty before i start digging into the motor

I just hope all goes well and come the end of november I will be able to post some pictures of my new toy and start wrenching on it.

Hi David & welcome to AFM... Sounds like you've been doing some research. There's plenty of information in the 2005+ forums on what to get and what to avoid. Plenty of places to pick up GT takeoff parts too.

Welcome and don't apologize for wanting/ getting a V6. They're nimble and respond to mods just like the GTs.

I don't know what GT take off mufflers are going for but I have a pair that have 12 miles on them sitting in storage. I got MACs right after my my 06 was delivered.

You're welcome to have them if you pay shipping. I'm sure I could sell them but I don't see the point. I have no idea what it would cost to ship them but they're yours if you want them.
