I Ride a Sportster 1200 Custom, open exhaust, and get flipped off now and then by Hybrid owners. Funny thing is, I get 20MPG better gas mileage than their econobox. (50MPG average) I love watching them squirm when I sit at a soplight, scaring their children in the back seat. I know they are thinking, "damn biker trash!"

Actually, a Prius forum with a kill section would be pretty damn funny all by itself. I can see a few thread titles:

"Mack semi no match for my battery-powered awesomeness"

"Euthanized an old Yugo today"

"Look out, some ATVs are too fast for us"

A prius isn't a car.. It's a lunch box.. did you know if you hold your arm out of the window while driving down the highway the car will turn. LOL! I may take on that celica now if I get the chance

We get a few of the hollier than though prius owners down here. I see a lot of them at the local whole foods store that I go to called "Rollin Oats". I usually leave my top down when I go in cause I only go for a few things, store sells organic foods that can be expensive. I like how I catch several of them checkin out my Stang as I walk out. They may be tree huggin hippies, but many of them comment on how nice my car is.

LOL!!!

Yeah, I too get "the look" of disdain from Prius drivers occasionally. They wouldn't like it if I told them I get 36MPG at 55 MPH.

"Wow! Your car gets 6 more MPG than mine! I feel nothing but shame."

Prius "kill section". Man that's funny! There's a black Prius rolling around here.... maybe it's an Echo... with racing stripes. Must have the RV cam and headers and performance chip and the high discharge batteries?

Are there any performance mods for Prius'? I'll check JEGS and Northern Auto Parts. Is there a Shelby version? God knows he'll sign anything that stands still long enough.

OK, I had to look it up. The modo list of Toyota Prius performance mods are as follows:

1. Oil filter. (?)
2. Air filter.
3. Wheels. (?)
4. Brake dust shield. (?)

Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - 2008 Toyota Prius

(?) is this really a performance mod?!?!

No they're not the only mods, there's one around here I've seen once and it's silver and has the 3 foot tall ricer wing on it with the clear tailights on it as well.

Oh man I don't think I'd stop laughing for a week if I saw a Prius with a ricer wing.

Though it makes me wonder - could someone go under the hood and rip out what it has (including batteries), put a serious engine in it, and drive around in the ultimate stealth muscle-killer?

LOL! That's awesome!

I had a Prius blow my doors off going up I-75 over the weekend. I was doing 80mph, so I know he was doing at least 90. Think he'll be surprised when his hybrid mpg averages out around 30?
