Too Bad The Quattraporte doesn't quite live up to the legend that it's grand father (The Gran Turismo) set for it.

Long story short

GA-400 NB, guy's been messing with me since 285, we turn onto the 400, I don't play in traffic so I let him parade ahead. Traffic clears out after about exit 6, I pull next to him, he punches, I go down to 3, get next to him. Go up to 4, he's behind me . . .lift off the throttle because street racing doesn't really prove anything but GYAH . . .that was fun! LOL!

But that's all you'll hear from this drifter, those stories are few and far between with me, I honestly don't condone street racing of any sort but sometimes you gotta show people that 119,221 dollars just means that you have a better interior than I. HAHAHA!

That's just it, I don't have much done. And I've been doing my track thing long enough to know when someone's "racing" you or just "playing around". At first we were just toying, he'd lead the way through traffic and I'd tail. But when I got next to him, I heard that BEAUTIFUL Ital-Design open up and he started pulling, I pointed my shifter north towards 3 and realized that he wasn't going away as fast as I thought he would.

Then when I powered into 4, he started sorting out behind me. I had to look it up, LOL! 400hp, 0-60 in 5.5. Soooo, it SHOULD have laid me out like nothing.

My car doesn't have much of anything done at all. As a drifter, I focus on suspension, not power and torque. I have an exhaust system to make my car scream when I'm balls-out sideways through a turn, but that's about it as far as aftermarket. The rest is just standard Bullitt stuff which, honestly, just puts you barely above a stock GT in a dog fight.

In the twisties however . . . .

But yeah, not much at all. I'm actually considering jumping into an S197 Bullitt or Cobra for the 2009/2010 season of drifting just so I can have a better car that's better suited for drifting.

We'll see how finances treat me however.

Oh, definitely understood, like I said, I'm definitely no street-racing spokes person by any means. It's rare that someone can coax me into doing something, but a Maserati was huge temptation. I'm a track drifter, my kicks are usually sought sideways ^_^

ish . . . after that little exhibition, I wouldn't spend 120k on one, especially when it appears it can be defeated by an E39 M5 in pretty much every aspect.

haha dont get a cobra for drifting man. I got a 96 and you'll need alot of suspension work for a good drifting car. I useto have a 92 camaro set up for drifting and my snake handles not even half as well.
