I think most everyone REALLY under-estimates the 4.0 vs the foxes... bolt on 4.0= high 13-low 14 car (its been proven and i can show you for the few that i'm sure will try to call bs) Stock/mild bolt on 5.0's= high 13-mid 14 seconds..... Why is it so hard to believe? Sorry for the small vent... And nice kill man! Good luck at the track

BUT!!! The one thing both of these cars have in common.... A crazy squeaky interior! Mine is a little annoying somtimes...but good god, his 5.0 sounds like the dash board is gonna fall off!
For every guy his own. I got nothing a against a foxbody or a notchback, but in my opinion..the reliability of my car is well worth it, plus I got a 06 for 12k haha

Unfortunatly, we weren't able it make it to the track this week. This morning when I was going to text message him and brag somemore, he messages me saying how he just got laid off from his good paying job. Felt bad for the guy so I waited till mid afternoon to give him crap!

For sure dude! I'm not one to say I have the fastest car ever!! Hell... I know that mine can't go over 120 without my driveshaft giving way, but the 4.0 is a great bang for the buck. I'm a college kid who has to commute, I bought my first 4.0 while still in highschopl and after wrecking it I went and got another cuz I didn't need to v8! I wouldn't mind the extra power, but I my mustang has just enough kick to go have some fun and get me where I need to go! I wouldn't sell my car

yea i would have to see that race to believe it unless the fox was a complete POS and he cant drive at all..i mean over 500lbs lighter and wayy more tourque but prolly about the same hp but good job on the kill

A turbo tc huh? My buddy has a garret turbo in his tc, not sure how fast but he said it's about 350 hp, alot for a FWD. Those motors don't like boost very much? I actully have another local car guy that I know who has a supercharged tc- he's blown 3 superchargers and 2 motors

Well I know he called and told his dad(another 5.0 guy) and he wasn't very happy but very surprised

Lol yea right... Tell you what buddy put ALL your bolt-ons on your 4.0L mustang and see if it will ever run a high 13 low 14 at the track Lol. I saw a 2008 4.0L V6 at my local track with Full Bolt-ons and he ran a 14.98@93MPH . But what you said about the 5.0L being a high 13 low 14 car yes I believe that because they're V8 mustang and those 5.0L really respond well to a lot of modding.
