The GT2 is $190,000! You can get a zr1 for $80,000 less!!! The vettes are bad ass. Someday i'll have a 06+ ZO6.

The C6 Z06 is easily one of the baddest cars ever built. Only a handful of cars ever designed can beat it and the cheapest of any of them are at least 3 times the price. The Zr1 is even better stock and I'm sure will respond well to mods but it's a little heavier than the Z06 and doesn't have the big handbuilt 7.0 liter engine. Get a Z06 for 65,000 and put intake, cam, headers, and tune and it will make 550whp all day and all those parts are less than 3 grand. At that point, it's power to weight ratio would better every car except for the McLaren F1 and Buggati Veyron. Corvettes are world class cars now.
