I was jus playin w the thread, but I DO want to go to cali, not only cause of the cool car scenes, but I want a lifestyle maybe cali can nurture.
I just got the cars timing advanced at 21 now! no pinging. the car runs awesome. I took out the pass seat and hatch stuff and back seats.
A 3.55 gear will make this car FAST.

Anyways, I droped it down to 17*, I think it runs better there. It was serging a bit at idle and I think I heard a ping or two.
I got on it in first and my car is so FAST that it ripped a rib off the serpentine belt and it wrapped arund the fan. HOLY $%*!
What times have you ran at the track? Your base timing seemed awful high so good thing that you lowered it because I don't think it was goin to run any better jmo.

fact: these ricers deserve respect today, there are some fast 4 cyl cars these days. And 6s. I got beat pretty bad a while ago , driving along w my mom, and a subaru wrx out ran me thru traffic.

Open your exhaust up, do a FULL intake, and enjoy.
Cali is just like it was stated earlier. We got some retarted imports and some crazy fast cars out here. Just like anywhere else in this country. Do what you can when you can afford it and hit us all up if you ever come out here. Just be safe and dont kill yourself in the meantime. Have fun with it and dont waste money on BS mods keep it simple. get her running good and spray, boost or do the right thing with a H/C/I combo!! Then spray it when its built. Of course money gets in the way of doing it right the first time.
