2009 Mustang GT vs 2008 HHR SS... Newbee here, 1st run against an '08 HHR SS. Man, that guy smoked me and I had a half car at the start. I think that they are 260hp. That thing was quick and kept on pullin' from me. I thought my '
stang would blow him away...anyone know if they have new mods for those little boxes?

Well, first off, what Mustang do you have, do you have the 6 cyl, or a GT, etc? Secondly, 5spd or auto?
Yes, the HHR SS has a claimed 260 HP, but it's 0-60 time is suppose to be around 6.3 sec stock. So, if you have a stock '08 GT, then I say you should've smoked him, if he was also stock.

A GT.I think he might have had a stage kit. He went as tho it were a 13.5/qtr machine. No way he should have done what he did.

I read about a stage kit for those 2.0s. Boost levels increased from 14 lbs to 24 lbs too.

Haha. Sorry, I should've read your title better. You already mentioned you had the GT.

Fella at work has one and he put a Stage 1 kit which increased him to 290hp which ought to be pretty quick.
