What is the purpose of this Kill Stories forum? answer is to post kill that you have made correct... yes.
Now to get to my point. Every time someone post a kill story good or bad there is always the peanut gallery there to yell at them for street racing..... Well Boys and Girls i do not see the peanut gallery posting Drag strip kills. In fact i have almost never seen them. So if yall had ur way there would be no kill story section because all taht is posted here are street races. Granite yesss we do get some dumb ppl here that need a slap on the wrist from time to time ( me included not claiming i am better then anyone else) but give ppl on here a break for getting a kill on the streets
Very few of these posts from your so called peanut gallery criticize street racing. Oh they are in there and I think they should be. I am sure that you have seen the news about accidents from street racers. That is all people are trying to get across. For the most part it is normally good kill or something like that.
And the reason you do not see the so called peanut gallery in the drag racing section is because that is where racing should be taking place not on the street. Those drag races are either monitored by the NHRA or some local car club. We on AFM do not promote street racing.

the only posts ive seen bashing street racers were ones that deserved it (crashing, being stupid, endangering others), i have pasted several kills that took place on the street and not one of them got me bashed by anyone. i agree with most people that racing should take place at the track, but sometimes it just happens. i only do it when there is no traffic, and i will not race if i feel i will be endangering anyone but myself. but seriously though, this site does not promote street racing, so you cant blame them for telling people not to!!! come on man.

i think a lot of us that have raced on the street think before we go for it a lot of the kill stories ive read have a line in them that says " no traffic in sight" or " we were at a red light with no traffic for miles in front" so good job to those of us that think before we street race
yea bashing is only done when it needs to be,
so i got one question if street racing is illegal, even if its on an empty intersection less,2 am road
why arent drinking at bars?????or smoking???hmm
so i got one question if street racing is illegal, even if its on an empty intersection less,2 am road

see now that is not a point i am bringing up and no ofense but that is dumb u can control how much u drink or smoking u have some control of a car going fast but i do give u a hand for the support
But as i see it with out the occasional street race this would be a boring section so post your drag strip races here so thoughs of us who don't go to a strip know what its about (don't try this go and see for ur aelf stuff neither) thanks. also don't get the wrong impression with me i am not trying to encourge street racing but sometimes it happens to some of us more then others and i like to grab it by the horns and if safe take the challenge presented
The only time I will outright bash someone is if I read their story and they have clearly put themselves and other people in harm's way. I have no problem with deserted street racing, i.e. the kind of racing done when a road is clear, no traffic, pedestrians, etc. The kind of street racing I have a problem with is when it is done on a highly populated road at the time of the race because that puts other people in danger. A road that is deserted and 'raceable' at 1am might not be 'raceable' at 1pm due to the amount of traffic at the time. Proper discretion should be used when a potential race opportunity comes along because crap happens. At least when races take place on a deserted street, one might only take out a power pole or a fence, instead of taking out a mother, father, and their two young children heading out to lunch.
I have never taken my car to the track, but that doesn't mean I don't like to open my car up every once in a while to see how he runs, nor does it mean that I don't like to open an occasional can of whoop ass on people. But that's done with the thought of other people and their lives around me. There is a time and a place for everything, and sometimes, it's not the time or the place.
Now, with that being said, I do NOT condone street racing. But to me, there is a MASSIVE difference between deserted street racing and populated street racing.
