There is nothing wrong with V6 mustangs. In fact 05-09 4.0 stangs that are supercharged run mid to high 13's. That would smoke plenty of cars. JKmiller runs high 13's. That is nothing.
And when Ford places their direct injected 3.7 it is game over. So many people fail to realize the potential of these engines. With the fuel being sprayed directly into the cylinders, there is less of chance of detonation, hence high boost, better power delivery and a fat torque delivery. The new Cobalts and Madzaspeed 3 are already using direct injection, and they are quick little cars. It will be funny when in the future we see V6 mustangs being easily turbocharged with direct injection, and hearing the sound of a blow of valve

Good luck on an autocross circuit trying to keep up with the power to weight ratio. Not to mention how cheap the V6 stangs are to ensure. Things evolve. Yes it is great to have a V8, but you cant ignore the future of the new V6's.
