Default Killed?? By a Vette

Ok, so I'm on the interstate one night in Chicago and traffic is relatively heavy, but I mostly manage to keep my cruise control on and set at 75MPH..

So I see that I am coming up on this Vette and I get next to him and ahead of him from time to time(never going above CC speed). I guess he doesn't like being passed by a Ford, because everytime I got ahead of him or close to him he would take off. I'll tell you what...His Vette (last gen) was F A S T and L O U D. After a while he just rocketed out of sight.

I don't know if that counts as me getting killed since I never went faster than my set cruise speed, but I will jump on that grenade if I have to. LOL

Happy hunting everybody.

Some people are just like that, hate to get passed. Maybe he thought you would bite and take the race.

Maybe. If that'd been the case then I wouldn't have to put those question marks in the thread title. His car was unbelievably quick.

Not a kill. You were never racing.

could count it as a kill i suppose, since it would have destroyed you in a race anyways.

It's a theoretical kill because you never actually raced him but if you did you probably would have lost. There's no shame in losing to a vette though even theoretically

Probably a head/cam LS1 vette...which equals something really fast. Umm......yea ya would have gotten killed either way, but since you werent trying anything I wouldnt count it as a kill for him.

All I know is whatever pipes he was running were loud and mean. I was envious, and mine has a decent sound (just not loud enough).

But my car still looked sweeter.
