So about 5 months ago I was at a stop light when a g35 cam flying up and stopped/skidded next to me at the light, I could hear the thing had a turbo on it and sounded pretty nasty. I rolled down my window and complimented the guy and asked him what type of power he was making he said "520 to the wheels on the stock block" now my BS sensor went off but I didnt say anything. I told the guy how i just had an exhaust at the time and how I was big into building VW beetle dragster. The guy goes "sounds like an excuse for your mustang" (i might add that this light is very very long and that this conversation took about 40 seconds. So of course the line turns he takes off and despite my best efforts gets 5-6 cars ahead of me.
So today I am driving to pick up a friend and at the stop light ahead I see a g35 with the same lame little ricer sticker on the back bumper. I get next to him and I can see its the same dude. ( I hope he knew it was me) so now its 5 months later and im sitting on full bolt ons (minus headers) and a 125 shot of laughing gas plus Nitto 555rs, we come off the line and it was close up until about 45 and thats when I pulled away and just kept going. 520 at the wheels... I think not
Horsepower = top speed (how fast your car can go)
Torque = acceleration (how fast your car can reach top speed)
Ever wonder why some trucks (especially diesel) have more torque than horsepower? Man! Them boys have enough torque to slow down the Earth's rotation when they stomp on it. Trucks need to pull weight, slow it maybe, but it will pull tons of weight. Your car will pull it's own weight better if it has mucho torque. Nuff said!

Awesome rematch, i kicked the S%^$ out of a G37 that this kid owns.. Throughout highschool and the early years of college he always talked smack about my car, even at parties when i saw him.. Well what do you know one night we ran into eachother and i owned him so hard.. Those cars suck. I made a thread about it in the kill section =)

I personally like the G35 and G37 a lot considering my dad has a G37 coupe now and had a G35 sport coupe before that.... they're great cars, handle very well, are put together with a lot more quality than my Ford was, but as far as who's faster in a drag? lol... it's not even close.

good revenged, depend on what other mods they did to the G35, twin turbo kit on stock engine would make 450hp. my older brother's 350Z, Stillen stage 3 supercharge plus some other mods, it pushing 500hp plus. the number is legit.
