i cant diss the neon too badly cause even though its sad its an american car but after school one day my friend jake was tellin me bout how right after school he was supposed to race a honda crx or somthin like that so i came along just to watch he has a1992 2.3L iL4 fox and we got to the road and they lined up went to go and the guy in the honda just revved right away i knew he didnt know how to drive a stick gut they went and jakes mustang stomped him by literally an 1/8mile then i had to beg for a race and the only one who stepped up was a kid named brandon in his neon and we lined up and i let him count down but off the start i just rolled at idle and he took off as fast as he could after about 3 seconds i hammered it ( my car is a 1997 3.8 w/k&n AI and bostch spark plugs) and since we had a long strech i caught up to him in a hurry and passed him at about 70 and never looked back i about topped out the car on that run bout 110

Are you serious?! Wow, I guess you missed the entire view of this website and most of its members. Where is Reggie when you need him.

Take that racing to the track man. That dude crashed a dozen times, are you kidding me. I didn't know crashing your car was so cool. Is it fun paying to fix your car, and paying for the tickets that come along with those accidents. Man i'm just saying take him to the track were real racers are. Beat him there and get a time card that says you won and there will be know dought. Good luck street racing if that is what you do just don't do it by my sweet car, i'm keeping mine in tip top shape. Peace Out.

You should have your license revoked until atleast age 45.
I think that dude was being sarcastic. If he was serious, I'm sure he's handicapped one way or another with no license.
I don't agree with street racing but everyone gets into a little action here and there. If it's a empty street and you know what your doing, plus the other guy. then maybe. On a busy street or interstate is dumb. I prefer the track but not everyone is going to roll down their window and tell them to follow them to the track. If they know them or someone know's you, you might get a friendly request. heck, if you go to the track, usually you sit there and someone will ask you what you run and if you want to run them.

You know what? I don't even care.
As for the OP, honestly? Racing a neon, a CRX and a V6? Honestly......this is where V6 owners get a bad rep. For racing things that are already slow. I mean honestly what's the point of finding out which is faster? It's like finding out you're the best at wheelchair shotput. Do everyone a favor, tell your friends to stop trying to race stock crap and being dumb, or just get new friends. And stop looking for problems in a car that doesn't need to be racing at all.
