Another fine example of why i rarely venture into this section.....

He's got a point, no one has the right to argue what's right or wrong. Well, you do, but it'll be pointless 'cause there's always going to be people who believe differently.

So, let's all just drop the point of whether street racing is bad or not, we're not changing anyone's minds. Besides, in the O.P. i never defined whether it was street racing or track racing that i wanted to hear about

I agree street racing is illegal and wrong.....but.... people like me in rural areas that have no track have no other choice....if uve ever raced in ur life youd know why we jus cant stop racing...you have a good opinion but as long as you have a straight 1/4mile good road and about a 1/2 mile to slow down and wait till about 2am for one run in MY own opinion i think its aceptable im not trying to say your wrong uur very right but u have to look at it through other peoples eyes also
i saw 4 kids lose their mother because of street racing when i was a kid in new albany,in on a busy road every time i even think about doing that **** during the day i think of those poor kids
not to mention the family of the guy who was driving
street racing is a horrible thing and should be stopeed but our fuckin govt. doesnt think they will make more catching street racers and fining the hell outa of them than jus having a track around here
but ur completely right and if i ever win the lotto there will be a track around here

jus my 2 pennies

So thats your retaliation is to belittle slower stangs than you? You know whats worse than a street racer? Someone who belittles their own kind.

Do us all a favor and stay out of here. Obviously you dont like street racing, and thats all this section is. So why must you come in here and bother everyone? And just to be clear, I dont street race, nor condone it. I just hate people like you.

Hate is such a horrible emotion.....

No one was belittled......

its just a fact street racers are afraid of the truth (ie timeslips)

having a slower car is not the point...

i will help anyone to build what they have or can afford provided of course they are responsible by racing at the track.....

But regard to street racers i would not walk across the street to pee in ones ear if their brain was on fire.....

you are entitled to your opinion as well as i

So, just to clarify, he said explorer heads, so i'm assuming he's got the GT40P Heads, which are not stock on the mustang, they have a different positioning of the Spark plugs which put them closer to the combustion chambers, making it possible for higher HP gains, as compared to the GT-40 heads which come stock on the 1993 Cobra, which you're referring to.

Like the rest have said, it's their choice, you shared your opinion on the matter of street racing, and everyone else has, can we please stop bickering like middle school students and move on with the thread?

Oh, just to clarify, i am heading to Fomoso speedway, sometime soon hopefully, to get my official times. i'm expecting to be somewhere in the high 12's, or low 13's.

Well that would be a stock head of another degree....

Unless they made a high performance version of the exploder that i don't know about.....

They are still stock heads that WILL NOT support a 347 .....

But what do i know.......

BTW have fun at the track......

There's plenty of high performance heads built with the same specs as the GT40 heads, and intake that are considered to be another GT40 model, much like the difference of GT-40 and GT-40P. A lot of them even require GT-40 intake or similarly made aftermarket intakes.

and thank you, i hope to
