Back when I had my '65 s/c 289, I was racing a BMW down the busiest street in town (also where the cruising goes on) and we were just jammin down the street, i was creepin up on 100, and he was close behind me. I was in the middle lane, he was on the far right. A jeep pulled out infront of me, I switched to the far left to avoid him, and the ***** switches with me! At this point I have nowhere to go except a turning lane to my left, I jump into it, hit the brakes but I can't stop in time, I go across, into the next oncoming turning lane and straight into on-coming traffic. I catch a curb with my rear tire, but thank god i didn't blow out my tire/**** up my rims. I take a hard left and slam on the gas as hard as I can and tail whip it around and BARELY keep up with traffic. Haha, I remember saying "Holy ****, i'm never racing again. I SWEAR I WILL NEVER SPEED AT ALL!!!" I was racing a week later, ahaha
I flipped a Porsche 944 several times at an SCCA race. I went off the track at about 95 mph and the right side dug into the grass instead of sliding. I ended up with a broken wrist. It was quite possibly the scariest moment of my life. I've got pics of the wreck and the car afterward on my dad's computer. Next time I'm at his house I'll post them up.

Reason: spelling
i tried to be cool and "drift" on a left hand turn, i ended up almost hitting a car, and i also scratched my rims likek a millimeter, another inch and i would have gone up on the curve
My friend let me race his sprint car once, and I got tangled up with another car in a corner and rolled it like 700 times, well actually twice, but it seemed like a lot.

I crested a hill in my mildly modded 90 GT on a local rural divided highway racing an El Camino at ten at night (spring 1992). My then state of the art Cobra radar detector went ballistic as I passed the Tennessee State trooper at approximately 110 mph and spent the next hour evading the State and Blount County Police dragnet looking for me (including hiding the GT in a farmer's pasture). The Camino slowed down I guess hoping the trooper would continue after me. I watched from the woods as they rolled his ride onto a flatbed (several cruisers were present) and drug him off to jail. It was a life changing experience watching what could have happened to me. I didn't drive that car in that county for over a month.

worst racing experience. lets see well me and my friends army recruiter were racing around when i had my v6 and he had a awd golf something and he lived north and me and my friend were headng south so i was doing about 85mph on the over pass to get onto the 1-17 freeway to go south. And the over pass turns really hard with one lane and i was still doing 85mph in the 45posted. i never really got the reason why they say slow down untill then. all i remember is the car going WAY to fast around that corner and me gripping for dear life as i feel the rear wheels start jumping and almost coming off the ground which would have resulted in the car flipping and mostlikly droping 30+ feet to the freeway below.
it was a terrifying experience for me and that could have been the end for me but i got LUCKY AS HOLY HELL.

Wasn't a race, but I was coming home from the grocery store. It was a day after one of those nasty rains that leave all the roads with funk on it. Well I turned onto an asphalt road, hit the gas and my car did a 180. I looked up just in time to see a Chevy Silveradoa bout 6 inches off my bumper. He had to lock it up. I hadn't really done anything wrong, just hit the gas like normal and caught a bad angle. Scared the poo outta me.

nothing wrong with street racing as long as u dont put other peoples life in danger its all good, but its every one's decision..every one has a diffrent point of view and this is mine...
