well at my school theres a bunch of guys who have Nissans. There little group is called Nissan Army lol. There known at school for modding there cars or at least talking about it. Me being a smart ass i blurt out something during class while they were presenting about cars for a project. Its along the lines of " American muscle all the way" but it sounded kinda harsh. They know I drive a Stang but i havent got asked to race. So im kinda wondering if i should race one or all of them haha. Im not 100% sure what they all have but I know one of them has a 350Z. Hes the biggest traget on my list of races i wanna run . But i wanna know something before i race him. If he is all stock could i beat him? I know he isnt stock because he has dual far cannons, but thats all i know he has.
So if he is stock could i beat him? Or how bad would i lose if he has a turbo or something...
NOTE: All i have on my car is a CAI. Sometime this month Im gonna get a Transgo shift kit and 4.10 gears.

Depends on the race. From a dig with those gears you should eat him. Take it to the track though! Then your safe, and you have the timeslip to prove you spanked him!

Run them worse case sanario u loose it wont be by a large margin. If one of them does have an after market turbo and your afraid you dont have a chance, do the Q-mile and on days before the race go to the back rodes and practice your launch. The 5.0's have a good stable launch; once you get into 2nd and 3rd, you most likely would win because the turbo on those imports takes awhile to spoon up since they work off the exhaust. So its up 2 you in the long run. Good luck!

Does the one with the turbo drive from the right side of the car? The 240 will be a fairly easy kill for you if you can drive. But the Silvia will be a workout.

yeah im friends with one of them. He isnt like that at all, most laid back guy i know. Im just not sure about his little ARMY...
it's all about what you wanna spend. gears & tuner are a good place to start. they make combos from AM for like 500 bucks. after that as cheap as modding the 5.0 is, i would go find some heads or long tubes or something.

Yeah I def. want the gears. Im still on the edge about 3.73 or 4.10. I hear people always saying I wish I went with 4.10's. And Im trying to figure out what kinda exhaust I've got...Last owner just said there was an aftermarket exhaust. But when I listen to it it sound stock and looks it. But i know it Doesnt have any aftermarket headers. Ill have to look more into that.

I don't know about that. A buddy of mine has a 240, did a few things to his engine and is pushing 400 to the rear wheels (wont tell me what he did but it sure quick). My neighbor has his 240 but it has a turbo and is pushing 500 to the rear wheels. What I'm saying is don't under estimate the 240 because with those cars you can put ANYTHING under that hood. Hell, I've even seen one with an corvette engine.
Also if one has a 350z those are pretty fast cars. With little mods they can give you a run for your money, so play it safe and see if you can get a quick peek under their hoods.
