Most Ford Vehicles, including my Grand Marquis, Mustang and I suspect my V10 F350 are limited by the computer to 112 miles per hour. As someone has noted, this may be because of the stock tires. Remember a lot of the newer cars also have a black box so if you run off the road at 110 they will know how fast you are going!!

Best bang for your buck is going to be an underdriver pulley and a Demolet, JLT, or K&N intake and a GT Takeoff exhaust system from a 99+ GT.

Unless you want to use 92 octane - and the chip won't give you that much hp, unless you've done some intake and exhaust work anyway.

Yea mine was topping out right around there too. It's the factory rev and speed limiter. You need a performance tune to get around them.

I'm getting the sct eliminator chip, moderate hp increase but the best part is getting rid of those factory limiters.
