Default Me vs Honda F4i

I was on my lunch break at work and I pull up next to a F4i at a stop light. He looks at my car cause he can hear the whistle... He throws a short rev and I get ready for the light change. GREEN!!! Both of us hit it and we take off, he gets the jump and has a car on me. I stayed with him from 0-90 until we both let off... That was an interesting run. He didn't leave me anymore then the car he had on me and I didn't gain any ground the entire time. I wanna do it again!!! That was fun ... I've always wanted to run a bike

At the next stop light he knodded and gave me a thumbs up... I turned right and went to get my lunch at subway

That's awesome, I've always thought it would be cool to hang or maybe even beat a bike. I'd especially like to do that with my car now on the freeway...but as you know i just don't want to be as the rap song goes "Locked Up" again

Ryan... I got a new phone. My old one was stolen... I need your number again. PM it to me. I'm planning on getting the SCT Pro Racer package next so I can tune my car myself. I think I could do a better job then Ray. I have the resourses for help if I need it anyways. After I do that, I think I'd be more then happy to run you on your bike

I enjoyed the hell outta that race. If I had some real tires I know I woulda been ahead, or at least neck and neck. Jeremy, I know you could whoop on some bikes with your car now. Go eat em up dude.

Sweet, maybe if I ever get off my butt and get a blower you can burn me a chip You should buy Ray's dyno and keep it at the house

And I'm not racing you if you get new tires. That was my saving grace, your lack of traction.

Kind of depends on the bike. At the strip I go to, the F4is run mid 11s. I ran against one at the Friday night test and tune and my 04 Cobra turned a 12 flat and the bike did 11.6. Later I lined up against a Suzuki GSX 1300 and he flat blew my ass away. I turned 11.8 @ 126 and he goes 9.8 @ 147. I don't think I have the balls to hang open on that kind of rocket. I kinda like the sense of protection of my passenger compartment around me.

Nice run Mana. I never get that in my car. Now when I am on my bike I get that all the time from other crotch rocket riders. I am planning on getting a crotch rocket in a few months( save on gas and it looks good in my garage :thumbsup ) I know they GSXR 1300 aka The Hyabusa is the fastest production street bike . The F4i is a 600 cc bike. It is in the 600 range at least depending on the year. But still they are not slow. Good run maybe next time you can get him.

Where I live in CA, we got some great mountian roads that I know quite well from driving them and riding them on my bikes.

What alot of riders don't realize is that a car is faster in the turns than a bike. I've chased many a bike trying to lose me and they can't do it, or they try to hang with me, which few are able to do.

Guess being a motorcycle racer, when I get in a car, I'm fearless cause I got 4 wheels and a metal box around me.

lol, I was trying to figure out what honda could actually compete with your stang. Didn't realize it was a bike at first. That's awesome that you can run with bikes. :thumbsup

Milpitas is like 20 miles from me. I know there are tons of back roads around the area. I love going in the twisties. But actually an experienced rider should kill you in the twisties.

Hot headed... Dude 126 MPH??? You should be in the 10's man!!! Put some stickies on that car and let her rip!!!

An experienced bike rider should rape a car in the corners just due to sheer power to weight ratio coming into and out of the corners. A bike does not have as much inertia as a car willl going into a corner. A crotch rocket is meant for handling great in corners and can hug tighter than a car.

Dont get me wrong I have seen cars stay on bikes in corners but not too safe IMO, especially since I ride motorcycles.

Still, Mana, nice job sticking with the guy.
