Default Killed a mustang gt.

I'd just picked up my 05 GT and was driving along an inter city highway doing the speed limit and enjoying my new baby on a fine spring day. I glance at the rear view and I see a running silver pony barreling down on me going at least 80 in a 45. As the other stang catches up to me it slows, does the ever so slow drive by head hanging out the window, checking out the new model. Looks to be a 98 GT with some stripes, exhaust and a mid twenties stang lady driving it.

The road closes down to 1 lane and I drop in behind the other stang. About a block after that it opens up into a 3 lane interchange highway as 2 other lanes merge into the single to create about a 10 mile strip of interchange highway that climbs slowly up a hill, excellent visibility. Being at the back of a pack of traffic she changes into the center lane and slows down, getting next to me again. We slow down side by side to about a 10mph roll. Letting the traffic ahead of us walk out some distance. I can tell she wants to see if the new GT has legs, and I'm just waiting for her to make her move. (heck I really wanted to see how it would run). When the traffic gets about a mile ahead of us, she guns it. I put the pedal down, walking past her easily, ran it up to 80 and shut it down. She had fallen behind about 5-7 car lengths by then but must have kept the pedal to the floor as she gave me a 100mph fly by with a big thumbs up out the window as she went screaming by.

Default Arg, ya got me.

I was crusing through town with the windows down, and I notice a red '05 gt to my right trying to pull out. Soon as I pass him I hear 'screeeach' and he pulls out and whips in the lane to my left. His lane had probably 14 cars versus my lane and 4. Had the light been green and the road clear I would have eaten dust

Nah, don't waste it on a ricer... You could probably fry some really big fish
with an '05.

did it have GT emblems or a Mustang GT imprinted on the rear? might have a been a v6 gt clone. you think it would have kept up with you a lil more than 5-7 car lengths... Sounds like a sixer to me :\

Anythings possible I guess, but if it was a rebadge they did the works on it. I'd put my money on half hearted run or old and tired engine before the rebadge.

98 GT won't fare any better against an '05 GT...
