Exclamation 02 V6 vs. 96 Explorer

LOL i know this doesn't sound like much of a race but umm yeah..it wasnt i left him the dust...but my dumb cousin thought that he could catch me with an explorer and well ..he didnt we started off at the top of rail road tracks and finished at an intersection...lol he never got close

oh, it is sad when a guy in an explorer thinks he can touch any mustang over 4 cylinders, or an SVO, cant rule them out.

Well I would have taken him on in my old 97. See you have to remember that Ford produced two versions of the 4.0 L V6 back then, the 4.0LV6 OHC and a $.0LV6 SOHC which is in the 05's today. My best time at the track was 16.5 and I was just getting used to the track so I'm sure I would have gone faster. Basically anyone knows that the stang should be faster but an Explorer 4X4 with a 4.0LV6 SOHC is not a slouch either.

16.5 would be left in the dust by any v6 except a fully loaded auto convertible.
