So, my bro has a pretty sweet '03 Focus. He got it from his boss who runs Focus Central/Central Coast Mustang. He works there as a sales and mechanic guy. They took it to SEMA. Check it out:

Its got all the boltons, header, cat delete pipe, borla center exit exh, pullies, 65mm tb, cold air intake, short shifter, tuned with cam sprockets, 4.06 gear set with posi diff and lightened flywheel and stage 2 clutch. It makes about 180 engine hp/ 175 engine torque. It weighs about 2650lbs less driver. So, this weekend, I just installed gt40P unequal headers, BBK h pipe, custom ram-air to stock air box with K/N and bumped timing to 14 degrees (car already had 2 pc pullies, alu driveshaft, 3.73's and flowmaster catback). My dad was driving my
stang and I was sitting passenger and we went from a roll in first all the way up to the middle of 4th gear. It was dead even until fourth when we in the
stang started inching away. That focus was crazy. I'm glad we didn't race until after those mods or my little pony would have been walking with its tail between its legs.

But, once I get stage 2 done (ported intake manifolds, tb and heads), I don't think it will be that close anymore. Power to weight ratio will kill ya. Focus: 2850lbs & 180HP (15.83 lbs/hp) vs my Mustang (w/ 2 people): 3750lbs & 250hp (15.0 lbs/hp).
