How come everytime a person post a stang get killed by another car or a car hang with a mustang, someone always comeup with some stupid remark like.............How ugly the other car looks & mustang is just the best looking car in the world & how I would rather take a V6 Mustang over a much faster car. My all time favorite is when someone say I rather take a mustang over a ferrari, porsche, lamborghini etc.... C'mon lets be realistic!!! If all of us can afford an exotic car, we would have one in our garage. Some of us wouldnt even look at a Mustang.

Atleast give this cars props. Me myself like cars PERIOD & it doesnt matter if its japanese, american, european or whatever, as long as the car is a performance car its all good.

And why do you guys pick on Civics with your V8's? Thats another thing I dont get. Just bacause they put a big ass wing doesnt mean they want to race. Leave them alone f***ing bullies! even though they look hella stupid with their big ass wing, over size body kit & 14inch steel rims. They still deserve to pimped that sh!t out on streets. LOL

I bet some of this guys that like to talk smack is the one that put dub's & fart cans on their mustangs, and some just cant face the fact that there is something better & faster.

I just want to remind some of you guys that this is a KILL STORY threads not a Mustangs are the best looking car in the world thread.

I agree with about everything you have said, but I just have two put in my two cents. If I could afford an exotic car, your right, I would probably buy one, just to have it. This doesn't mean that I can't like a mustang more, what are you crazy! I can honestly tell you that if I had the choice and could afford it, I would choose the '07 Shelby GT 500 over any exotic car! Just because a car costs a quarter million dollars doesn't mean that everyone would take it over a mustang. Maybe your the one who needs to be realistic. Just my opinion!:thumbsup

what the hell...ok first of all, all these unsuspecting, loving people driving their civics and being picked on by big bad mustangs arent unsuspecting or loving and usually initiate the 'race'. also, I have never read or heard of a stang owner saying how "I [would] rather take a mustang over a ferrari, porsche, lamborghini etc....". you've just exaggerated this to give your argument a so-called foundation. being a hypocrite doesn't help your weak arguments, either. you say not to forget that this is a kill forum while you have just made a fool of yourself without posting any story about 'killing' or being 'killed'. nice try, moron. -eli

perhaps you should not assume anything

before I bought my Mustang ('05) I was shopping for Maseratis - the one I was looking at was 96K. I paid cash for the Stang and could have done the same for the Maserati.

1 - I prefer to buy American, which is getting more difficult with the crap Detroit keeps turning out

2 - There is NO car with the heart and character of the Stang in my opinion so when I saw the 05 I knew that is what I wanted

3 - I know there are faster cars - my penis still works just fine...

If you are wondering why, well DUH - this is a Mustang forum, and everyone here probably feels the same about theirs.

it's called different tastes and thank god people have different ones - otherwise we'd all be cruising around in black model Ts.

I could've bought _______, but I wanted the Mustang. I wanted the style, sound, performance, comfort, quality, and value that can ONLY be found in the 05 GT.

I don't see where your complaint is about how 'stangers treat ricers. I've never seen a 'stanger try to show up a ricer, unless provoked. Most of us don't believe it's worth the gas, or time to smoke them. But every now and then, you get a real blooming idiot that deserves a spanking!

I love the Mustang because it's economical, quick, rear wheel drive, pretty and very modifiable for any type of driving I desire. If I could afford a Lamborghini or Ferrari I probably would rather have a Mustang because all I know is I love the Mustang

if i could afford an exotic car, it would probably be that bugatti veyron. no matter how ugly it is, 200+mph under 20 seconds still screams fun.bugatti or stang, either will turn heads in a parking lot and not stomachs.there are a couple of imports i bow down to, such as M3's, S4's, RX-7's, Supra's, Skylines, and other cars of that nature.but whenever i pull up to either one of these cars (except Skylines) i usually recieve a thumbs up from the guy.

I think a lot of the love for Mustangs (at least for me) is history. Not just the 40+ year history of the car itself, but our personal history with it. I mean, I learned at 13 how to drive a stick on my neighbor's '68. I fell in love then, and went on to own a '65, a '00 and now the '05. Needless to say, I have a ton of great memories associated with each of them. And everytime my 2-and-a-half year old daughter asks to go for a ride in the "horsey car," I can't help but think she's getting hooked even younger than I did!

That being said, I realize there are plenty of cars out there that will blow the doors off my v6. I'm not foolish enough to think it's the best or fastest car in the world, it just happens to be my favorite.

cars are cars, and i believe most of us generally just love cars as a whole...
i never really loved the mustang, i loved the history, loved the heritage, loved all those things about mustangs, but never really wanted one that bad...all except the mach 1. since i first saw one, to the day i finally was able to buy my own, the mach 1 has been really the only mustang ive always had a thing for...
as far as hondas and imports go, i love them too, i used to drive a prelude that i loved to death, if i could my hands on another one, i will take it if i can, i just love cars in general, and if someone really loves what they drive, i will never have anything bad to say about them...
its not the cars that are stupid, its the owners...if civics were meant to look crappy on purpose then they would...but u also have to stop and realize...the mustang is probably the most seen american car on the street, what's the import counterpart to that...the civic...

Agreed. One of my buds owned a 99 Civic SI. He let me drive it and it was a hoot. I mean each car is about it experiance. The civic was fun because of the hi-revving dare I say v(eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)-tec on-off switch. I enjoyed it. Although I prefer my 5.0 with the grunt down low and being able to go fast with out revving the piss out of it, even though my 4.10s do that abit lol. Cant forget smoking em without having to kill the car . Friends jeep cherokee, what a blast in a freshly plowed field... 86 Ford Escort GT what a fun little car that was.
