96 (Stock) GT VS. new gen Celica GT

I was cruising home with my wife. I came to an yellow then red light on a double laned intersection. The light turns green yet I am still cruising , just driving normally until a silver Celica GT flew about 2 car lenghts ahead of me. I glanced at my wife and said "should I beat his ass" my wife said "go" so I stomped on it smoking his ass like no tomorrow as I hear his loud engine attempt to bolt past me yet he never had a chance I got about 3 car lenghts ahead of him till the stopsign.

Now that was no challenge whatsoever but I did have something to prove, If you want real power dont buy a celica gt and install a big ass muffler on it---what a joke!!

Ricers Seem to be a growing "CRAZE" When will they get it that for what you spend to make a ricer "RUN" you could build 3 V8s. It's good you put him in his place!!! BUT BEWARE..... Some ricers WILL RUN!!!! As sad as it is you can't win them all..... But it's fun to try!!!!

stock celica gt's are slow as it is or are u talking about the GTS which is only 195 hp 6 speed. good kill though with the older stang.

Really? Between a 96 GT and an SS Supercharged my money would be on the SS.. was it the supercharged version?

i murdered a cobalt ss from a roll about 35 to 85 funny thing is he gets right up to me then downshifted and went WOT

and i was in third about 1300 rpms i just punched it in third i was pulling so slow at first lol and still beat him if i downshifted to second it wouldnt have even been a race but hey thats what he got trying to weave in and out of traffic to get a piece of me lol

The thing is.. there is an SS and an SS Supercharged, so when you smoke an SS you may think its the supercharged when it isn't

One time I was out in my dads Jag X-Type 3.0 and I got smoked by some f*cker in an SS, I was quite sad about that lol

Maybe the cobalt ss was modded.
