I have been a life long chevy fan and this is my first ford and I do love it dearly. Nice little kill story, save the drinking till the car is parked for the night so all is safe. I went to a farming prevalent school and had alot of friends with very nice trucks costing a ton of money. However it wasnt because mommy and daddy bought them. These boys start bailing hay at age 8 or sooner for 10 hours a day in the hot sun. They raise hogs or cattle themselves paying for all of the expense of feed with their own money and then sell the animals for a huge profit. These boys then buy new diesel trucks as an investment because they will work these trucks on the farm. They are smart and hard working, not rich preps.
In high school I had an 88' Chevy S-10, not even close to "VERY nice", but a truck nonetheless. I then upgraded to a 95' Nissan 4x4, that was a nice truck. All this while I was still in high school! It did however take all the money Walmart would pay me for pushing carts .

as far as the whole having more respect for a ricer/import over a chevy i must add my 2 cents, not that none of you care but nonetheless....
As some of you know I don't care for Camaros, or chevy at that, i was not raised around ford, however my dad was a big Trans Am guy.... here is how I look at it, wether im at the strip or on the street if I see a honda civic (Notice the lowercase) line up against any AMERICAN car such as a LS1 Camaro or Trans Am, or hell even a Charger...even though i don't like Chevy or Mopar (Hence the uppercase) Im gonna root like hell for em, because IMPORTS SUCK.
Srt-4s are American rice...write that down, some are fast but they are too much like an import

As I've said before, If you gave me the most loaded Z06, I'd be insulted. I would call a flatbed to haul it to the closest Ford dealership to trade it in on a F150, and a Focus.
Its good nobodys gonna give you a z06, Because then youd be proven wrong.

There are many arguments about all of the imports being made in the USA, but the one thing no one stops to think about - All of the profit made on those cars goes back to the parent country. Toyota makes trucks in Texas, employes a whole bunch of americans, but they only do it to make money. And the money they make goes back to be spent in Japan. That's why their economy is doing so much better than ours! I would drive a 82 chevette w/300,000 miles on it before I would drive a new toyota or nissan!

Yet another thread putting down Ford and other American car companys... Shame... I say if you want a rice burner buy one, and good riddance to you from these forums..join the ricer forums and put down american cars there all you want. That way true American buyers/supporters don't have to read your trash about our cars..
