This was my closest race of the nite. His time was 2 one hundredths faster but my holeshot gave me the win. He was pretty much on my fender the whole way down the track.

What was your reaction time. I thought I could see 3.06 at the bottom of the finish lights.

did he lift before the 1/4 because his speed is slower then urs and if he was in it hard to catch u, i would think it would have been a lot higher

even at your altitude you should have atleast 2 or 3 more mph in stock form and a .5 better ET

The DA could have an effect as well. I run an a local track that sits at 1400' but the DA was 3500' a few weeks ago.

The guy in the black fox had an e-303 cam, worked over heads (not exactly sure about everything done to the heads), that new bbk intake, 3.55 gears, full exhaust. I may have missed a few things but I was taking to him that night which is how I know what he had and I raced him also with my crapy r/t, no powershifting, street tires, and missing 4th gear

(I was doing it all night, don't think I was pushing the clutch down all the way).

Hey Matt nice to see a fellow Edmontonian in the forum,it's a blast out at Castrol Raceway!! I was hoping to at least have my Hurst install by today so I can get out to the track and see how that helps. But I hyper-extended my left elbow a couple of weeks ago and it's still tough to twist wrenches. My LCA's should be here today(missed the UPS guy yesterday so I'm waiting here for him today). So maybe I'll have my wife assist me on Sunday and get that stuff done and get out to the track next Friday.
