Don't forget the motor to raise and lower the top and the wiring for that. Also the rear quarter windows in the 'verts roll down - so you have motors, wiring, switches, etc. for that, too, that you don't have in coupes.

the 05 is auto? and yours was a stick shift? that probably has alot to do with it too. autos have 3.31 gears while i belive manuals have the 3.55s

I think he had enough mods to beat it in the first place. It only takes a good set of gears to put a 5.0 in the upper 13s lower 14s atleast. Including all his other mods. The auto may have had something to do with it, id say if he had it down all the way thw whole time you won so who needs to hear anymore.
