I've got this neighbor that has a like new '76 Firebird with a 455. We got to talking, friendly and polite I was, and he pulled out a book on old Firebirds and showed a line in there talking about what Mustang killers the Firebirds where. He quoted it like it was fact, like it had to be true since it was in print. Well, wouldn't ya know it, a couple weeks later we were both coming home at the same time and I caught him at a red light. I gave him a honk on the horn and a couple shots on the throttle to let him know my intentions and he looked rather irritated, probably because he knew what was about to happen. The light turned green and he gave it a try up to about 25 mph but by then my rear wheel was already where his front wheel was. He paid over $10k for that turd and I left him behind like he was tied to a post. Bone stock, 302, 5 speed with a 3.08's that I got for $2k, punting his 455 into the weeds. Now he won't talk to me anymore, go figure. Maybe I can make it up to him and let him wash my car sometime
