    have you checked your ignition yet like the guys in the thread suggested? That's what the problem was for 2 of the guys who were commenting on that Jeep thread. I don't think their situation was much different than yours. Other than that I would make sure your ground connection is strong. I have a feeling that it might be your ignition switch. From what I understand, if it goes bad, it cuts power off to a lot of your car...like you are describing.

    Dear Sir,

    Your responded to my post on my 1996 Mustang about power to the interior and no headlights.

    !. Traced all the battery cables positive fire
    2. Jacked up the car and tested the starter - positive for power
    3. Jerked Battery out of car took back to auto parts and asked for them to retest the battery.

    :laughlitt That was the second bad battery!!!! They warranted the battery and I installed and albeit the car runs, just wanted to let you know since you were kind enough to respond, oh also, I did replace the cranjshaft sensor, it was bad.
