I learned auto mechanics from my older brother, James in Louisiana. Moved to New Jersey in 1960, spent 2 years in the Army, Fort Knox, and Seoul Korea. Honorable discharge from the Army in 1965 in Oakland California. From 1966 until 2003, I worked in several Research Companies, invented 4 products for two companies. In 1967 I started playing golf, taught myself by reading a Jack Nicklaus golf book, and practicing often. I broke par in two years, won 45 1st place trophies, and Golfer of the year in the UC ALUMNI GOLF CLUB IN 1985, with five 1st place titles. My lowest handicap was 5 over par, and my lowest score for 18 holes was 67, with 3 birdies on the last 3 holes at Willow Park Golf Course in Castro Valley California. I only play once a month now after retiring, but manage to shoot between 80 & 90 for 18 holes, with a few birdies now and then. Since I'm retired I spend time with my only Grandson, fix things around the house for friends, and family members. One of the latest things I'm proud of is, I bought two head rests at a salvage yard, from a 1985 Mazda 626, and installed them in the back seat of my 2002 Silver & Black Mustang.
