I am about to make some changes on the 65 coupe.
I took off A/C compressor and brackets - too much wieght H.P. drain.
My motorcraft carb leaks all over the place. So time to change it out.
Bought Demon Jr. 525. That should be plenty of flow. Blocking Heat exhaust risers when I replace the Iron intake with a 85 alumin dual plane.
Clean and port grind (?) all around.
That is for starters.
Just looking to see who has had positive Demon Carb experience. I hear about various dirt in them, and other not likeing. And a ton of people who love em. It is bought. Unpacked, about ready to be done. Any suggestions on Airfilter set ups, or Jet size changes. I am pretty open, And a bit nervous... I know I can, I know I can.
