Hey Tony, I saw a post saying you were getting 28mpg with your stang. I took a look at your sig and saw this-
1989 Mustang LX 5.0 - Trick Flow HCI with all supporting mods... Fresh T5 with Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch... Factory 8.8 Rear End with perfectly functioning Limited Slip... Moderate to Heavy weight reduction
Fast, Reliable, and 30mpg
But what exactly does that entail? Do you know what kind of power you are making? My 5.0 usually gets 17-21, so if I could even get it over 20 reliably I would love to do so. Could you take a few minutes and write me a list of what you've done to the car?
So far, I've pulled mine all apart and have- fiberglass hatch, hood, aluminum drive shaft. Stock 8.8 with stock gears. SVO upper and lower, 70mm BBK TB, decent cam in it. MSD 6AL box, MSD coil, BBK long tube headers, BBK X pipe, MAC exhaust. Stock T5
tranny, all seats/interior pieces in there.
