    About Me
Officer, I was just testing out that uncontrolled acceleration thing...no matter how hard I press the accelerator pedal, the damn car won't go over 145 mph...What's wrong?

    Semi-retired, 68 yo child.
Former used car tech at a Honda New Car Dealership.
Have owned over 55 cars in my lifetime.
Have owned about 35 Honda cars.

Had my lst real car at age 9 (49 Crosley Conv.)

    Have owned 6 Mustangs
Moved to the south to escape the salted streets, that wasn't good enough so now moved west.
    Hate auto transmission equipped cars.
    Mustang Rides
05 GT premium coupe Manual. CURRENT daily driver.
    - Lots of problems with this car but still like it very much. Wish I had the $ to trade it for a new Bullitt in Hunter green. These are great cars, but this early 05 is now out of warranty and three dealers failed to fix all it's problems properly...despite being given copies of related TSBs by me and detailed instructions from me as to how to fix other non TSB related problems. Don't have much respect for Ford Dealers. They expect you to beg them to do the work they should do under warranty. I send my Thanks to a dealer in Asheville, NC who fixed TSB related problems which two other dealers in other states ignored despite my taking them copies of TSBs I'd downloaded from the internet.

    05 V-6 premium coupe auto,
leather, trac cntrl, sports appearance pkg. 28 k mi., Currently SOLD. Perfect car, never a problem with this car. Just hated the automatic transmission

    >>Non Mustang Ride: 2015 Scion FRS 6 Speed Manual Transmission. This thing totally rocks ! Fits like a glove, smooth and easy to drive. Though underpowered, it's handling abilities really put the Mustang to shame. I'm really in love now ! New Love.<<

Non Mustang Ride: 85 Toyota SR5 Pickup, 2wd, 5 speed manual. About 350,000 miles on it.
BEST VEHICLE I'VE EVER OWNED ! (of over 55). Most comfortable seats, no blind spots, power steering, and a transmission so broken in..I can shift it with one finger if necessary. It has had a blown head gasket since June 2002, but who cares ? It still runs great !

Non Mustang Ride: 63 Lincoln Continental Sedan. Black with Red leather. 60,000 miles. Options: A/C, Pwr Vent Windows, Limited Slip Diff. Original Owner. Original Condition. Never any accidents. Needs attention. In storage for 30 years now in North Carolina. Last driven 2001. Only Very Seriously Interested Parties welcomed. Best Educated Offer.
