    1979 Mustang Ghia 5.0
    My wifes grandmother bought it new in 79 and she left it to my wife. I decided that if I was going to drive it, I wasn't going to be embarrassed to get out of it. We are planning on racing it this summer.
    Still running the 79 block and C-4, 9" rearend.
    Full back half, coil overs on all 4 corners, ladder bars.
    Eagle 347 stroker kit
    GT40X aluminum swirl heads
    retro fit roller Comp Cam kit.
    1.7 roller rockers
    Parker Funnel Web intake
    Holley 750
    Long tube headers
    Electric 140 gph fuel pump and regulator, fuel cell.
    Billet distributor
    C-4- Hughes race kit
    3500 TCI converter
    Hughes full manual valve body
    Megga shifter with line lock
    9" rearend with 4.11 gears
    Fiberglass bucket seats
    5" sun tac with shift light
    Race weight is as it says, RACE weight.
    11.57 @116 with a 1.6 60'
    That was before the back half project.
    15.5" x 29 Mickey Thompson Sportsman's..up in smoke!

      Thanks, I am still messing with suspension adjustments. I am trying to get a set of sportsmans to hook but think it is hopeless.
