    About Me
    Commerical aircraft mechanic from 1984 to 2006, laid off then multi jobs since with another lay off- great industry!! Never ran at a track yet played on street often. Used to race flat track motorcylces 125cc on nitro in 250 class- that was fun. Used to stud motorcycle tires and run on ice on frozen lakes up in north east. more fun.

    Mustang Rides
    Current car is 1965 Mercuy Comet Cyclone. 1973 ford 302 bored .030 over with Speedpro hyperutectic pistons- 9 to 1 compression. stock lower end with ARP rod bolts. 1970 DO0E heads with 1.84/1.54 valves, mojor exhaust port work. Roller tip rockers with Lunati single spring and dampner, retainer, keepers. Howards Cam .459 lift, 280 duration- 214 @ .050 lift. Double roller comp timing chain. Edelbrock 289 performer manifold and Edelbrock 600 cfm carb. Modifed 1970 c-4 with 2100 stall. 8 inch 3.00 open rear, B&M star shifter, Fuel pressure gauge outside on cowling, have tach, vacuum, tranny temp, volt, water temp ,oil pressure aftermarket gauges, SUN/ autometer .Electric cooling fan aiding 3 core stock radiator, seperate tranny cooler mounted in grill feeding thru radiator first.
    First car at 15 was 65 GTO convertable 4 speed. Shoe horned in 455 buick, stupid but great learning experience. 1965 comet cyclone hipo 289 ,4-speed. 1970 olds 442 with 455. 1979 Hurst olds. Numerous other clunkers. Rember taking a 4 door 1970 olds cutlass and cutting body off behind front door pillars. Man it would smoke tires thru all 3 gears with hi mileage motor ,highway gears .Fabricated homemade hi rise from header exhaust collector. 4 ipes into one. The 4 pipes fit a holley 750 double pumper butterflys pefectly. welded up top and bottom plate- another stupid learing curve.
