    This is my first car. Purchased in 1978 at the age of 16. Drove it to high school and first 2 years of college.
    Repainted in 1982 - which still looks great! Mostly stock, 302 engine never rebuilt... Holley 600, Edelbrock Streetmaster, Hedman headers, and Pertronix.
    It was then put into storage from 1983 until 1996. I drive it only on nice summer days and put on about 500 miles a year.
    Currently replacing vinyl top and then soon after the headliner. Future plans...replacing all four inner fender aprons.

      Hey Jim.I wish I could have driven to school in a 72 Mustang when I was 16...We had to wait till we were 18 in this stupid country that I live in!.Not that I could have gotten my hands on a 72 Mustang then!..I'm helping a friend restore his '73 coupe at present..trying to convince him to put the vinyl roof back on it and keep it all original!..Cheers,Lloyd
