About Me
I'm Married with 1 kid. Love guns and cars. Spend time with family and try to mod my car when I can. I bought my Mustang becuase I needed a car with a back seat for my new joy in life (my son). We have a 04' Kia Sorento for a family car. My previous car was a RX-7 and much too loud and stinky (gas/exhaust smell) to put my kid in and they dont have a rear seat. I always liked and respected the 5.0's. So it was determined that it would be my next car to have fun with.
Mustang Rides
1990 LX, Blue
When I bought it it had chrome Pony rims, BBK springs and Flowmasters (mufflers only).
Then in this order I have done these things so far.
K&N cone on the stock MAF housing.
180* thermostat.
Cleaned the TB/MAF/IAC (free HP).
BBK O/R H-pipe.
14* Timing.
SN-95 70MM MAF housing.
BBK equal length shorties.
Replaced cone filter in engine compartment with MAC CAI.
Changed out the 70mm SN-95 MAF for a 76mm C&L MAF.
Took out the 2 1/4 weld in Flowmasters and installed 2 1/2 "Flowmaster American Thunder" system with Dumps.
MAC 70mm T/B with a ported upper intake manifold that I did myself.
FRPP 4.10 gears and rebuilt Trac-Loc.
Things I need to install that are sitting around are, MSD 6al and MSD coil, electric fan, 3G Alt, March U/D pullies

You can talk and hear the Radio just fine. Sometimes on a long trip at a constant RPM they get just a bit annoying, or when you are super tired or are feeling a bit sick then they seem a little louder then normal. But over all they are not as bad as people make it seem. When I was first going to put them on, I went to a local exhaust shop and asked the price for two 2 1/2'' turn downs. He asked for "what kind of car are you putting them on" When I said a 5.0 he was like "Are you crazy, Dumps an a 5.0 will rattle your Brain loose" Well I bought some Turndowns from Jegs and put them on. I was like "PLEASE give me a break its not that bad at all". It sounds mean but it is no problem to live with.
